Brisk is the air

and full of purpose untold

It is just you

and the sky

and the Lord.

Why in the mornings does the atmosphere hum?

Surely it is the quietest of the day yet to come.

it is that time when the ear picks up life

hearing winds

and leaves

and birds

and night

the night that is slowly dispersing

leaving us without sight.
