All of This

Around you is your All of This, the things we forget to be content with.

All of This is the color of the sky, a blade of grass, a glint in their eye.

A spark that floats in the campfire air, an ice cream sundae one plans to share, we forget these things, we forget to care. All of This, All of This, is still there.

When did the sunrise stop being charming?

When did "how are you" stop being honest?

When did we stop listening to the wind blowing?

When do we ever stop moving?

I wonder if we remember how to live just one life. A life of our own. To have an experience and just live it without seeking validation from it. Do we know who we are anymore? Truly? Can we just be honest with ourselves? In the end it is going to to you and God, so be honest. Who

are

you becoming?

We clutter and collect, we take without rest, we consume and regress and gawk about the mess.

I wonder if

with no All of This

we'll remember all

the things we've missed.
